Because one is seen as ugly and the other is seen as beautiful. And that says a lot about human nature. We often judge things not by the action itself, but by how we feel about the person, the image, or the appearance attached to it. The same behaviour can be praised in one person and condemned in another. The same mistake can be forgiven in someone attractive and punished in someone misunderstood. The same truth can be accepted from someone popular and rejected from someone ordinary. That is how powerful perception is. It reminds us that the world does not always judge fairly. Sometimes it judges through beauty. Through image. Through bias. Through what looks pleasing, not what is actually true.
