It's scary how relevant this is. I left my 6 year teaching career to pursue a temporary summer job in conservation education. I have an interview for my dream job on Wednesday in the zoo I work at right now. If I get it, I'll have the security I've been so worried about not having since leaving teaching. I have a new mortgage and a child and a lot of financial responsibilities but this (not very well paid) zoo job has been so good for my mental health and overall happiness. The job I'm interviewing for will put me on the same salary as teaching and would literally just change my life. Thank you for this reading ❤️it's given me the encouragement to trust myself and to trust the path I'm put on no matter the outcome of this interview
