Many years ago it dawned on me that the cashier at the corner store has seen me at my best and my absolute worse for years, and I didn’t even know his name- since then, I’ve made it a point to foster small connections with the characters that are involuntary apart of my mundane daily rhythms. It never cease to amaze me how one small low effort gesture can create such positive impact in our communities, even with our full and busy lives. 😌

simple actions can make a world of difference to one another. I raise chickens, and in turn I have more eggs the I can eat. I always give them away to the ladies at the dump. During Helen I gave them away to my my neighbors & one of the neighbors parents community. I preserve jams, I give those out as much as possible. I shop with aldi a lot, so I leave my quarter in the buggie. You don’t have to be supper social to be a supporter in others life’s. 😊

My friends and I started a bi-weekly potluck dinner thing in our neighborhood (sometimes at the park or at a house depending on weather) we handed out little fliers and invited people and we started a group chat and we have a little system of barter between neighbors and it was so scary to start but its been really great for everyone and its helped all of us and completely expanded our little network and I would recommend giving it a try.

The other week I helped someone in need, a homeless man, and the act of kindness was immediately mirrored from another person who then also donated, the more acts of kindness we perform really does an impact, like a beautiful little butterfly effect 🥰
