ok, help please.... my Samsung comes with an equalizer, and so does my Sony headphones thru their app, which one do I use???? do I use both or set one to balanced/default????

eq is fine, but i buy my headphones based on reviews that done with no EQ out of the box sound is important. I save any post purchase eq tunning for specific games (tarkov guns specifically)

I finally decided to make the switch from my steelseries acrtis nova 7p to kiwi ears cadenza with a kiwi allegro mini dac i have no idea if i should use my front panel desktop pc port or the rear i/o port for the motherboard, but i also need to use a usb-a male to usb-c female adapter to even use the dac

I agree with you 100%. I’m a slave to SteelSeries GG and their Sonar with special audio. I can adjust it to my liking. Is there a better option? I feel like I’m losing out. (Dunu Titan S2) and YES I got them off ur list specifically and love them!

EQ can not get past of the physical limitations of the hardware that is controlling, is better to get a pair of headphones that perform flat along the EQ band and THEN EQ them to your preference
