Now that his body, whereabouts, and identity have finally been confirmed through DNA, the questions cannot be ignored. How did his body get to the mortuary? Who brought him there? Is there any record of when and how he was admitted? Why was he left unidentified for so long? The last people known to have been with him were officers of the Nigerian police. What happened between the time of his arrest and the discovery of his remains? Thank God DNA was able to trace and identify him. If not, he may have remained another unnamed body, another forgotten story. His family deserves answers. The public deserves answers. Identification is only the beginning, there must be accountability, transparency, and justice.
