Take note, if you have kids who get into things, as most do, the milky substance in the stalk of the plant is harmful. Just make sure that the kids know to leave these plants alone.

I have 34 milkweed plants at full bloom in my yard! everytime they dry up, I break them open and let the wind take the seeds. Now, there is Milkweed all over my neighborhood!

That’s why everybody needs to plant milkweed and butterfly weed and other pollinating plants. Fuck lawns people, nobody likes mowing anyways. Grow habitats for birds, bees, butterflies, all the beautiful things in life.
