This material is soffit metal, this is NOT meant to go on walls and shed water. Water is going to get trapped in this channel and go sideways into the walls and rot out your purlins. If it was installing directly to the sheathing, costs could be catastrophic. For the security of your own company, I would not continue installing this product in this way.

Buckling/Pops as day warms and wavering with high winds, pinging with torrential downpours. I have a metal roof, could only imagine metal siding. No thanks!! Our cell reception is horrible due to the metal roof alone. Plus, condensation will form behind those metal slats and wreak havoc on that framing over time. If this home is damaged years down the road, you may need to change out the entire siding due to discontinued pattern.

My question is this ! Isn’t that going to trap heat like an oven ? Because metal heats up like an oven and doesn’t dissipate it well ! I live in a mobile home that had metal siding and metal roof . It made the ac unit work twice as hard and constantly had to get it fixed .
