This is an issue of material. Hijab is mandatory no matter how hot it is. Find summer materials such as linen. It is entirely a question of faith. And do not speak about what Allah will or will not punish for, are you companion of Allah to decide that? If you wish to remove the hijab so you can leave the house comfortably then do so, but don’t say it’s allowed and fine. The hijab is mandatory and whether you want to meet your obligations or not is down to yourselves.
