As a former basketball player who went to high school with Maya Moore, I have seen the footage. It was clearly an accident. You can see Alyssa trying to miss Caitlin as they both fall, and her fist was intended to make contact with the floor. The fist was to keep her from massively injuring her wrist by landing wrong.
