The Irish roadtrip of my dreams with @Entdecke Irland ☘️ 🐑🌱 Anzeige Save this itinerary from our trip to the west coast along the Wild Atlantic way: * We rented a car at Dublin airport and drove all the way to a charming little village called Doolin on the west coast. The drive is approx 3.5 hours! * You can stop in Lahinch, which is a seaside town renowned for its surf culture and coast * We stayed at Elfin Cottage (@fiddlebowcollection) in Doolin * The Cliffs of Moher are only a 10 minute drive away * Ballinalacken Castle is a beautiful place to have dinner * Check out the Caherconnell Stone Fort and Sheepdog Demonstration, it’s such an interesting and fun activity! * Big recommendation: visit the Burren perfumery — Irelands oldest working perfumery, and you can have food and tea in their tearoom before or after you explore the Burren! * Drive through the Burren Discovery Trail (a few of many beautiful stops: Corofin, Ennistymon, Gragan's Wood) * McGann's Pub for dinner in Doolin * leave Doolin and head to Slea Head, Dingle (approximately 3.5 hour drive) * a few stops on the road: Ennis for a stroll along the River Fergus, and Tralee (Lakeside Café) * Drive along Slea Head! The Dingle peninsula is beautiful and you’ll stop at so many beautiful villages, beaches, forts, churches, and spots to take photos * Fenton’s restaurant for dinner is lovely * Visit Hold a baby lamb in Dingle for the cutest animal encounter you’ll have on your roadtrip * Visit Dunquin's Pier for breathtaking views and walk along the cliffs (my favorite spot) * Visit the Connor Pass (set in the mountains of the Dingle Peninsula) for a scenic drive and beautiful mountain and summit views * on our way back to Dublin we stopped at Muckross Abbey along the Ring of Kerry (which is a long route with historical landmarks) and we could’ve spent a lot more time there! It was beautiful If you plan in more time, add the Ring of Kerry to your roadtrip, it’s a beautiful route with many breathtaking things to see 🤍
