If you can move in the Cielo Vista area. Very near to Fort Bliss,2 malls,Walmart and Sam’s. Beautiful area. Welcome to El Paso. I live here in San Antonio now. But, I lived in the Cielo Vista area and I did work at Fort Bliss as well. Perfect place to live.

Visit White Sands. Ruidoso, New Mexico is only two hours from El Paso and it’s beautiful.

Far east el paso (The Tierras) is one of the best places to live. Also, the northeast is pretty good. There are 10 Super Walmarts and the best border food you could ever taste.

Welcome to El Paso 💜! As someone who lives in El Paso currently, and also lived in SA, I have to say that I don’t miss the SA humidity or their traffic. Just miss HEB. People are very friendly here and our mountains and sunsets are beautiful 🥰.

Definitely visit Cloudcroft/Riudoso, NM in the summers. The Jewelry Box is a rare bird if you like girly stuff. I preferred being in the Northeast area, eat of the 375 for shopping. Herdon's gift shop off Stiles is an interesting find. There's an outlet mall on the west side. Stay out of the Devil's Triangle off Dyer street. They like to build the interesting restaurants near the UTSA college off of Resler Dr.
The city is a major mix of old and not remodeled and new/trendy.

San Antonio is just the greenish version of El Paso (i was born & raised in El Paso & live in Austin) food is basically the same. El Paso has expanded a lot so enjoy the dry heat also. Its brighter over there (less trees) so sunglasses, and chap stick til you get used to dry heat. Jealous...I miss home.
