@gardenwithsophia: Tomatoes thrive when nutrients are balanced. Too much nitrogen gives leaves, not tomatoes — but P and K help blossoms stick and fruit size improve. #GardenWithSophia #FertilizerFriday #AskTikTok #TikTokDoYourMagic
Do a soil composition test get a glass jar of your dirt fill it half way fill the rest with water and shake the shit out of it you will want more sand and organic material over clay then get a lil fresh dirt put it in a jar add some vinegar if it foams a lot your soil is basic and you can add a small amount of wood ash to water then water the soil with it not the plant

honestly I just use my ducks pond water 😅 its genuinely the whole reason I ended with ducks well that and theyre adorable but it was for fertilizer, theyre composition is like 4-4-4 so genuinely any well rounded 5-5-5 i know fox farms has a liquid fertilizer that ive heard amazing things about though ♡

Shift In Action :
I take a different, soil first, biological approach focussing on active nutrient cycling, mycorhizzal networks, microbial diversity, organic matter, consistent moisture, and biological activity. A healthy soil food web creates a self regulating nutrient cycle that supports heavy flowering and fruit set without reliance on fertilizers.

I always preferred to go porcine or fish meal. like pot and hop plants, tomatoes like protein, water, and sunlight

Growing I use a nitrogen heavy liquid fertilizer each week. When they fruit you want to switch to something with some phosphorus in it
