@ohhowcivilized: Link to the recipe and glass jars is in my bio. I’m a Tea Sommelier and this is week 4 of my cold brew tea series where I make a new cold brew every week this summer. This is a hibiscus limeade using a cold brew hibiscus tea concentrate. Tea concentrates are a very strong brew of tea that’s meant to be diluted. This hibiscus concentrate is made using double the amount of hibiscus to water. Instead of 1 ½ teaspoons of tea in a cup of water, I’m using 1 tablespoon of tea in a cup of water. I use tea concentrates for drinks like tea lattes, iced tea lemonades, or any drink where I’m adding something to the tea but still want the taste of the tea. Put tea and cold or room temperature water into a glass container. Stir or shake to make sure all the tea is in contact with the water. Place it in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Strain out the solids. To make the drink, I put ice, and sliced limes into a cup. Add the hibiscus tea concentrate, then the sparkling limeade. This also tastes great with lemonade. If you like a sweeter drink, add more limeade than the tea concentrate. They’re perfect for outdoor picnics or sipping by the pool. #coldbrewtea #icedtea #hibiscustea #hibiscus #limeade
