Each kid gets a laminated loyalty card at the start of the year, the different slots have different things such as birthday redemption, etc and it is hole is punched.

question, if they are potentially losing the token, what makes them NOT lose the ticket? would maybe a google form the teachers fill out be any better? then you can give them a token and mark it off the tracker when they redeem?

" if they lost a token they'll lose a ticket" thats the point. losing a ticket is better than a token. they lose a ticket? oh well. they lose a token? then there's less tokens for the machine. she needs the tokens. she doesn't need the tickets. the tickets, they can lose all they want. the tokens on the other hand, they cant. they're important.

The ticket is a great idea! My daughter’s elementary school does “school bucks” and each 9 weeks they get to spend their saved ducks on passes! Like free dress, no shoes in class, bring a toy to school, etc. My daughter is 9 and has never lost any of her tickets! And she’s been doing it since kindergarten 😉

Punch card maybe they have to get so many punches before a token and they can keep them in a card holder of sorts or even you can keep them per class in little card holders

I vote spreadsheet. Maybe a digital certificate even to show off but you have it in a spreadsheet and give them the token when they want to redeem

I’m sure the students have a notebook they always carry around. The teachers can stamp the notebook and when they come into redeem it, you just initial on that stamp.

hear me out. have one of the volunteers stamp the tickets then laminate the tickets. that way they're reusable.

if you use tickets, tally it and record in a binder or notebook so you have it on your end if they lose their ticket.

I’d keep track of it in the library. If they lose a token, they’d lose a ticket. If teachers are going to issue rewards, maybe have some in house laminated cards or bookmarks that the student brings you and then you add their name to the list. Once they are ready, they can come to you and you mark their name off and give them the token to use. Kids lose too many things! Less stress and chances for loss, and more organization on your part as to how many have been issued. I love the control of it all. :)

Don’t the students use their chromebooks for the library? What if you had an option for it to be on their account and when they’re ready to use it they redeem it with you for a token? If your computer system is even that friendly lol

Keep a spread sheet. That way if somebody loses the token, and they come to you and tell you they lost it that you still know that they earned one.
