exactly they talk about beans on toast but beans are 27p from aldi and a loaf of bread is 55p, its very obviously a struggle meal but they don’t understand that, if we went around saying they only ate mac and cheese with hot dogs and ham in it or ketchup rice there would be uproar

To add to the defence of beans on toast, from what I’ve heard and seen the kinds of beans in America are sweeter so if they’re going off of the beans they have then they might be imagining a completely different taste.
