“Stressful hobby” is a great description. Was self employed for 10 years in my 20s to mid 30s. Throw in Covid period in 2020/2021 after purchasing a home in 2019 and it became a nightmare. Took reverting to full time employment to kick on financially but still have the echo of mismanaging self employment for 10 years even now in 2026. Rule #1, separate personal account from business transactions. Something I never fully grasped until after after the fact 🫣
