I love using sticky notes. My window was covered in my outline. Then I wrote it all out in more details. Then I typed it. I think I ended up with nearly 30,000 words for a full outline

while your probably not looking for suggestions these fold out notebooks are my favorite way to organize writing (mainly fics LOL) the left is rough ploting, each blue is an arc, green is notes. right is chapter breakdowns.

I forgot some people only write on PC/digital. I mostly like write in a notebook and then manually have to input it in my phone. word for word. like one chapter already takes me couple hours to copy TwT

I write by hand as well! It just makes ideas flow more smoothly but with the rise of gen ai I’m glad I do it. Though as a pantser it’s mostly daydreaming followed by word vomit, rinse and repeat 🤣 can’t plan a story to save my life.

If you ever have time look into obsidian, it’s a markdown file software not connected to the Internet no AI basically a system made of notes and files
