@phoenixferals: my feral boy Tom - I trapped him from my colony a few months ago after he began to appear emaciated, despite never missing a meal. His bloodwork showed that he has severe hyperthyroid, but he’s currently a candidate for the radioactive iodine treatment and scheduled to have the injection in a few weeks! Not every street cat is a good candidate for indoor retirement, but I know that Tom will be happy. He’s not a fan of being touched, but I know he trusts and loves me after the 6 years I’ve been his feeder and caretaker.
