If we claim He appointed us to office, our lives must reflect His justice, mercy, and humility Micah 6:8. Otherwise we risk speaking for ourselves and attaching His name to it. Three takeaways for all of us in power, influence, or ambition: Guard your words about God. He is not a political slogan. He is the Creator of heaven and earth Genesis 1:1. Hold power loosely. Offices come and go. Faithfulness remains Ecclesiastes 1:4. Choose humility early. It’s easier to walk low than to be brought low Proverbs 16:18. Whether one agrees or disagrees with any leader, the call for all believers is the same: Pray for those in authority 1 Timothy 2:1-2, speak truth without malice Ephesians 4:15, and keep the fear of God above the fear of man Proverbs 29:25.
