a few weeks after moving into this house, we found a box of old videotapes hidden in the attic. there were recordings from different families who had lived here over the years. birthday parties, holidays, family dinners... normal things. but one tape stood out. according to the label, it belonged to the last family that lived here before us. the footage showed them in the kitchen while the father filmed the evening. everything seemed normal until their young son suddenly became fixated on something near a dark room beside the kitchen. his father asked what he was looking at, but the boy never answered. then he slowly raised his hand toward the doorway. one by one, the rest of the family looked in the same direction. whatever they saw immediately changed the atmosphere. the recording ends shortly after that. we've watched every tape we found, and the more we see, the more uneasy we feel. maybe it's just our imagination, but i can't shake the feeling that something isn't right about this house. if this really was the last family to live here before us... are we next?
