Build systems for your life before you build a family. Because after the wedding comes rent. After the wedding comes bills. After the wedding may come children. And children are not accessories. They are a trust. Too many people are increasing their responsibilities without increasing their capacity. Then they spend years struggling under a weight they were never prepared to carry. Marriage should not be an escape from your problems. It should be a responsibility you are prepared to embrace. There is no shame in waiting.
