@funny_louis: Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria have now confirmed the Abidjan-lagos Corridor Management Authority, a body that will over see the operation of the 1,028 km coastal highway. The operation phase of the six lane stretch is set for 2030. Future plans to construct a parallel high speed railway is also being planned. The highway is expected to generate a combined total of $16 billion in trade and $1.3 billion as toll revenues for the five countries. African Development Bank (AFDB) is funding this; Estimated cost of $15.6B and $6.8 billion in private sector finance, is expected to begin construction in 2026 and be completed by 2030... #WestAfricaRising #AriseAfrica
