it might if the spell backfires in some way. I wouldn't try it out on hex's, but maybe protection spells for your pets might work better. completely up to you on what youd like to try

personally I love using claws in baneful work or their whiskers in protection work, they use them for sensing and protecting themselves and ingredients heavily rely on the intention you set when youre working with them.❤️

I'm not one who believes in spells or things. But I would imagine intent and procurement matter. A fallen or freely given claw, perfectly fine. A forcefully taken claw, very bad. A spell with intent to hurt or harm always carries a risk to caster, and as a part of the spell I imagine you'd be placing them at some risk as well. If the spell is good and protective, I don't imagine there would be any negative effects. 🤷

I would keep every single little claw whisker anything you have from your little fur baby instead of using it in spell work. One day you're going to look back & be glad that you have them, you can wear them in a little necklaces if & when you do lose your fur baby one day it will be bittersweet. I have my pups Baby canine I'm glad I do I lost him a year ago at 9 years old. I also recommend taking a lock of their hair every year that they're with you there's lots of beautiful little art pieces you can make out of their hair their whiskers their claws. if you do want to use them in spell work make sure you have multiple duplicates before you do. Are familiars are pure I would not use them for anything other than peaceful spell work protection spell work & keep them afterwards. 🥺
