Spelling secrets: Orbiting Words [21:33] You read Surah Yasin all the time but how many of you know of this miracle inside it, a perfect ring structure within a single phrase there's a verse that describes the orbits of the sun and the moon. الله سبحانه وتعالى says وكلهم في فلك يسبحون and each is swimming in an orbit. but the verse doesn't just say it, it shows it. how with the letters themselves. let me show you. focus on the phrase kullum fi falakin. read that phrase forwards. it's spelled kaf Lam fa ya fa Lam kaf. now read it backwards. kaf Lam fa ya fa Lam kaf. it reads exactly the same forwards and backwards, a perfect mirror, a ring structure, a palindrome where the central letter ya has all the other letters orbiting around it, kaf to the kaf, Lam to the Lam, fa to the fa. incredible right? you see, nothing in the Quran is unintended. Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala deliberately placed this ring of letters here in this verse because it shows what he is describing. the verse speaks about the sun and the moon, celestial bodies that travel in a circle around a center. rather than simply saying it, Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala shows it. the letters circle around a central core, just like the objects they describe. in fact, the word for orbit, falak appears only twice in the whole Quran, here and in Suratul Anbiya and on both times it sits in this exact palindrome kullum fi falakin. even more interestingly, there are other places that describe the movement of the sun and the moon, yasbahun, but those are never in palindromes. why because it's not describing an orbit in that verse. there are other examples of palindromes in the Quran too, ones that we'll explore in another video, InshaAllah. but the question to ask is, why does this matter? first it points to the divine authorship. this book must be from Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. it was revealed orally, not drafted, not edited, not written on a page first to check. the Prophet sallallahu alayhi WA sallam who was unlettered recited what he received to a people waiting to catch him out, and it was memorized immediately and written down on the spot. no edits yet. inside a verse about orbit sits a visual description of an orbit. that level of design is not human. second it calls you to ask, what are you orbiting? kullun, everything is orbiting something. whichever way you look at it, front and back, the palindrome emphasizes that. the question is, what have you placed at the center of your life? Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala or something else? number three, Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala doesn't just tell you, he shows you why. because actions speak louder than words. the Quran is full of this, where the words demonstrate the meaning they carry, and he asks you to do the same. the verse doesn't just describe it, it demonstrates. we call ourselves Muslims, but how many of us show it? so don't just say it, live it. put Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala at your center, and let everything else orbit around him. #SpellingSecrets #OrbitingWords #SurahYasin #Quran #QuranMiracles #QuranicMiracles #QuranReflection #QuranReminder #IslamicReminder #IslamicContent #QuranVerses #QuranStudy #Islam #Muslim #Allah #IslamicEducation #Palindromes #Arabic #QuranFacts
