Three Doors the Enemy Uses to Attack Your Home Did you know this? The enemy does not always force his way into your home. Many times, he comes through the doors we have left open. There are three doors you need to watch carefully. The first door: unforgiveness. When someone keeps holding on to hurt, keeps carrying resentment, and refuses to let go, the enemy can use bitterness to enter the heart. Jesus said: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14(KJV) Forgiveness is not weakness. Forgiveness is closing the door that the enemy wants to use against your heart. The second door: what you watch. Many people think, “It is just something I am watching. It does not matter.” But what your eyes keep looking at will slowly enter your heart. Impure images, videos full of fear, content that pulls you away from God — all of these can quietly affect your spirit. Psalm 101:3 (KJV) says: “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.” When you guard your eyes, you are also guarding your heart. The third door: neglecting prayer. A home without prayer is like a house without walls. The enemy is not afraid of a beautiful house. But he is afraid of a praying family. 1 Thessalonians 5:17(KJV) says: “Pray without ceasing.” When you pray, you invite God to take His rightful place. And when God is in control, darkness cannot freely enter. So today, which door do you need to close? Is it unforgiveness? Is it what your eyes have been watching?
