I’ve taken creatine almost every day for 7 YEARS. Here’s what I’ve actually noticed 👇 I started taking it in 2019 because I wanted every reasonable advantage I could get from my training. I train hard. I take my nutrition seriously. So considering how cheap and well studied creatine is, taking it seemed like an easy decision. But after 7 years, I’m not going to pretend it transformed my physique. I’ve never experienced some massive jump in strength. I’ve never looked in the mirror and thought, “Wow, the creatine is really working.” I’ve even gone a week or two without it while traveling and barely noticed. Yet I STILL take it. Why? Because creatine can provide a modest improvement in strength and high intensity exercise performance. And if that helps me squeeze out an extra rep or perform slightly better over thousands of workouts, I’ll take the potential advantage. But creatine should NEVER be your main focus. Get these right first: 1️⃣ Train HARD Your muscles need challenging sets, good execution and enough effort to actually give them a reason to grow. No supplement fixes lazy training. 2️⃣ Get your nutrition right Eat enough protein and calories to support your goal and do it consistently. Creatine can’t compensate for a diet that’s working against you. 3️⃣ THEN add creatine Once those fundamentals are handled, creatine becomes another small tool you can use to potentially improve your results. I take it because the cost and effort are minimal and the potential benefit is worthwhile. Not because it’s magic. Master the fundamentals first. Then worry about the small stuff. 📥 DM “RESULTS” for 1-1 coaching #menover35 #musclebuilding #creatine #bodyrecomposition #fitover40
