I feel bad for the boyfriend, Not because I'm male centered, But the fact that He has the pressure of picking two people he cares about is heart breaking for me. If they broke up on good terms(I meant him and his ex) then sending support is fine in my opinion.

If the roles were reversed, and my girlfriend had found out that her previous ex-boyfriend had gotten cancer, I would want my girlfriend to reach out to him. It’s the right thing to do point blank. Now, that doesn’t mean I want my girlfriend being there for every step of the process. But yeah, this was someone who played an important role in your life. You should reach out to them and show support.

I mean I understand where the girlfriend is coming but she need to understand that the boyfriend and the ex literally had a long history and now the ex has cancer. It’s not rlly fair for him to not have a chat with the ex. But the bf should’ve deleted those messages though.

I think that as an empath.. I cannot delete things, I care about my exs and always will .. but they will never be prioritised over a new partner however the cancer thing… if my partner knew me they would know it’d hurt me .. and I would feel the need to reach out however I’d be completely transparent
