I met my ex bf on HelloTalk. We happened to live around 30 mins from eachother. Idk if it’s a Chinese thing but he was the best bf I’ve ever had. I learned a lot from him, he was such a gentleman and was very generous…I never lifted a finger when being with him. Definitely the most reliable person I know.

I had hellotalk back in 2020 when it was still a language learning app and I met lots of amazing Chinese. One of them however, proposed to me, I WAS JUST 16😭 anyways, I had friends who needed my help with their english subject so we moved to wechat and I uninstalled my hellotalk. We've been occasionally talking for 3 years until I lost my phone and couldn't log in to my wechat account🙃 I miss them so much
