considering that timeline could not work out diffirent way, how I see it is as its the most rational way of thinking is that she did actually forgot for a long time after what shades and phanes did, but as we know thanks to venti she cut off every other archon after the disaster. It leads us that, most likely she reminded herself it during/shortly after khaenrianh fall, which is why she decided to take such a risk so many years after it happened
