Carlos :
The fig tree can be understood as a gentle reminder not to measure spiritual life by outward appearances or by the visible devotion of others. Leaves can represent the signs we notice, such as knowledge, routines, public devotion, spiritual language, or even the appearance of maturity, but leaves are not the same as fruit. Fruit is the real evidence of a living root system: love instead of fear, forgiveness instead of resentment, compassion instead of judgment, and connection instead of separation. Yeshua was never impressed by appearances alone; he was looking for a life that was actually being transformed. So the question is not, “Who looks more spiritual?” The question is, “Is life becoming more loving, more rooted, and more alive?”
