honestly figuring out what looks good on my figure has been such a game changer. it sucks when you see something look cute on the model but isn't made for your shape. I tried on a shirt at torrid that looked so cute online, but when I tried it on i looked so boxy I could pass as an amazon package. Knowing thy self is the key to true happiness 😂

I went from a 14/16 to a 10 . But shopping in Marshall’s was a nightmare some days . Ugly a$& clothes many women still love fashion at any size . It’s been way easier ro find clothes now but I still wish more companies where more size oriented .

As a fashion designer, I can tell you that sometimes I would get into arguments with the technical designer who is responsible for fit. We would put it on the size 18 dress form which we buy from a company who analyzes body types across North America. Once the sample fits that size is 18 then the technical designer will use grading to adjust the spec bigger and smaller. The Arms on the dress form are not that big, which is why you are finding this problem. Many times I could not even wear my own designs because apparently my arms are bigger than what this company dictates as the average size for a plus size arm. So whoever’s reading this I highly suggest that you contact Alvanon and tell them that you want to be included in their body scanning. If they don’t know about the bigger bodies out there than nothing in the industry will change .

For me, I can’t wear short dresses because of my big butt, so they are too short in the back. I am not trying to bend in any way that you could see my heartbeat 😳😂

Unfortunately most companies that even have "extended sizing" think plus size means straight sizes made bigger. True plus sized manufacturers know this
