The luckiest thing that could happen to you is getting a top load machine. You don’t have to deal with the constant mold issues and damp mildew smells. It’s sooooooooooo much more sanitary

But…. With top loading you can leave the lid open without it being in the way and it doesn’t get moldy. Thats a big deal

honestly a dryer that’s door open down is an underrated solution. just throw the clothes onto the tray and plop it in!

This is how my set is and honestly wouldn’t have it another way. I have heard terrible things about front loader washers!

Have you looked at the Serena and Lily website? They have beautiful coastal decor. It’s definitely not cheap but would look nice in your new Florida home.
