@vxmp.ukht: What I mean is that I’ve seen people online take a Muslim child wearing hijab or niqab and immediately turn it into a story of “oppression” without knowing anything about that child, her family, or her intention. A child may simply love her mother imitate the women around her or feel proud of her faith yet people assume the worst because it’s Islam. But when children imitate other cultures, clothing or trends it’s suddenly innocent and adorable. Don’t claim to protect children while disrespecting Muslim families and assuming you understand their religion better than they do #hijabi #muslimtiktok #fyp #islamicpost #religion
Im turning 12 and I’ve been hated on because ive been wearing the hijab since nine and it hurts so much, we are human too.

I was around 9 when i started to wear the hijab, my parents we're happy, at 10 i started to wear the niqab, my parents said i was just wearing it for fame not for the sake of Allah (SWT), however my intention was for Allah and for me to stop getting Harrassed at the park i usually go to. One time it was ramadan and we went umrah, i covered my face with my hijab since niqab isnt allowed and my parents hitted me and called me a hard headed child. up until now everytime i put on my niqab my mother looks at me with a disgusted look whilst my father avoids looking at me. It hurts me on how i just tried to come closer to Allah (SWT) and now my parents are against me.

I wore burqa when I was nine. It was only for the national day but I felt safe wearing it, and I refused to take it off when my teachers told me to. I love Islam ❤️✌🏼

As a Muslim, I started wearing the hijab after much debate when I was young. I didn't know I had to reach puberty first to wear it, but I loved it and still love it. I wore a khimar afterward, and I'm considering the niqab. My opinion is that the surrounding environment influences a child's opinion first.

Modest clothing on a child, MODEST clothing on a CHILD there’s nothing immodest about a child even if it just the child copying their parents think about what your teaching them indirectly, that’s their body is immodest from day 1

It’s normal for her to wear it at home for fun, but it’s another thing when you have grown adults having their child daughters wear it in public. Part of why women wear hijab is so they can cover their beauty, and a child is a child, it’s weird to get sexualised like that

My issue is when people see a child in hijab and/or abaya and their first thought is to go to "WHY ARE THEY SEXUALIZING CHILDREN???" Which is really funny considering how sexualized non-muslim girls clothing is. Literally saw a baby girls onesie with the words "Hide your husband's😘" at a store the other day, and some how a hijab and abaya is sexualizing children??😭

I hate this argument so bad because everyone says awww so cute when these influencer mums are dressing their toddlers in literal belly tops but when a little girl wants to wear a hijab it’s such an issue. Idk why people make modesty seem like a prison. People have to dress modestly all the time you can’t show up to work in a tube top and booty shorts and adhere to other dress codes but when Muslims follow the dress code of our religion it’s an issue
