@leoncharlesofficial: Eight months ago Sab messaged me wanting to compete. Never been on a stage in her life. Hated FaceTime, let alone the idea of walking out under bright lights in front of judges in a bikini. She told me straight up she was shitting herself. Most people pretend they're not scared. She didn't. We built everything from scratch. Macros, training, posing, the whole thing built round her actual life, not some copy and paste plan. There were hard weeks. Proper hard. She got ill and couldn't eat. The scale stopped moving and she panicked, convinced it had all gone to shit. She questioned everything because she'd never done this before in her life. Every single time, we sorted it together. That's the job. Not just chucking a plan at someone and disappearing when it gets tough. First show. Pure nerves. Came second and received an invite to the British Championships. Could have settled there. Didn't even cross her mind. We went again. Second show. Sharper. Posing tighter. You could see her confidence was completely different. Everyone sees the trophy photo and thinks that's the story. It's not. The real story is eight months of genuinely being in someone's corner. Messages at midnight. Adjusting the plan when it needed adjusting. Building someone's belief back up from absolutely nothing. This is exactly why I coach. Not for the medal photos.
