I have been to Paris many times and you are correct going to the top of the Eiffel Tower is not worth it but what is underrated is traveling to the top of the Arc de Triumph

Beautiful! ❤️Versailles is a whole day trip. You do not want to miss Marie Antoinettes house, Le Petite Trianon and Le Grand Trianon outside of the main Palace after the gardens.

Great recommendations, and some of them I would have made myself. Most especially, Bonsoir et Bonjour. The French really just want to know that you’re making an effort and that you’re not taking their English for granted. I’m headed there for 10 days in August myself! I’d go at a different time, but I’m a teacher here so I really can’t. Thanks again. Oh, my nephew who lives there just sent this pic from today!
