My fear, too. A bunch of us were renting a houseboat and the cabins you sleep in are small with very low ceilings. My hubs opened the window at bedtime but didn't realize he ALSO opened the screen. It was dark and I heard fluttering back & forth over my head so I turned on the light. A BAT WAS IN OUR CABIN! I opened the door screaming, ran down to the bathroom and locked myself in. The thing flew all over the boat, landed on a curtain rod and they had to open the sliding door, use a broom to shoo him out. They found me crouching on top of the toilet!😂 I've never lived that down.
