Arkovi Studio :
In my opinion, based on the little experience I have gained so far, I would advise every young architect to grow under the guidance of a mentor who owns or runs an architectural firm. Let that be your foundation.
Set a clear time frame for your 9–5 job. Decide how many years you want to dedicate to learning, gaining experience, and building your skills before stepping out to start your own journey.
The truth is, no one rises alone without the right skills and experience. Before you can make a significant impact or stand out in the profession, you need a strong foundation and a deep understanding of the field. That is what prepares you for success.
Along the way, having a good mentor is equally important. Their guidance, corrections, and experience can help shape your career and keep you on the right path.
Short note: Not everyone is meant to work independently, and not everyone is meant for a 9–5 career. You need to make a decision about your own life journey and work according to the path that best suits you.
Shalom
