My older brother needed a kidney. My little brother and I were a match. I’m single my little brother is married. I accepted moving forward because everything aligned for me. I said yes in a heart beat! ❤️

My dad donated a kidney to my uncle a few years ago. I get her concern! I wish my dad had talked through it with us, though I knew it was his body and his decision. The surgery was hard on him though, it’s actually much harder for donor than recipient. If my husband was in this situation, I would ultimately respect his decision but he would need to talk through it with me

The husband may not be wrong but the wife is expected to help him recover so he should have talked it over with the wife first.

He can recover by himself and when he needs a transplant lets he how he does. He thinks he will never be sick especially with the family history.

Very selfless. I would do it (I like to think) but omg I really wouldn’t want to do it! It would be easier for me to do it for one of my children but even then . . . Ouch. I think people who give up a kidney are incredible people
