Bolton used to be great. Sadly internet shopping & the council not investing in the centre has fucked it. It’s a shame.

social media and online shopping has taken over shops struggle to cope with hiking rent prices and no shoppers life these days has made it that hard to go out to shops and buy what you need i remeber bolton town centre growing up was the place to be as well as manchester such a shame

It’s so sad. My fondest memories in the 90s was my Nana Brenda taking me out for the day to the then vibrant marketplace, buying me a big velvet colouring card from a stall and taking me to her favourite cafe. Good times.
