A quick contextual summary: the original anime did very poorly in Japan, so the original creators sold the rights and allowed the English dub studio to take full control of the anime, but the script couldnt be translated properly, and since the creators didn’t really care what they did with it because they believed it wasn’t worth anything, they allowed the English dub studio to do whatever with the script. Because of that we got one of the best comedy anime dubs🥹
