@carolinatrucker78: This driver couldn't communicate with Amazon staff in English, so he held his cellphone to the pickup office phone while someone else translated for him. Situations like this raise legitimate questions about communication, safety, and whether English proficiency requirements for commercial drivers are being consistently enforced.#truckdriver #truckersoftiktok #otrdriver #americantrucker #truckinglife #trucktok #trucking #lifeontheroad #overtheroad #TruckLife #nondomiciledcdl #punjabitrucker
Sad story, a lot of them are like slaves by their own people, families are held hostage and the driver ( english speaking or not) must work with little rest ( different Cdl’s)

This literally happened with a delivery to my house. The lady couldn't find my house even though I put a VERY specific description in English and there was only ONE option just by looking at numbers on the street. It is bewildering.

I’m an immigrant and I drive a truck too. I came from another country, but I respect the country I live in. I learned English so I can communicate with people, understand road signs, and avoid causing an accident. That’s why I don’t support drivers who refuse to learn the language and make the rest of us look bad. I’m all for taking away their CDL if they put other people at risk.
