@christinahelvey: I remember choosing my own bedroom set from catalogs as a kid, and letting our kids pick their themes from the never-ending options on the internet feels like today’s version of that🥹⚓️ Kids only get a few years to want the character bedding, bright colors, and themed rooms. They have the rest of their lives for pretty, curated, designer inspired grown-up bedrooms..and I’m trying to slow that clock as much as possible!⏳ I’ll be the first to admit it’s not the most *aesthetically* pleasing, but I think it’s important to let them choose the characters, colors, and themes they love while they still do!💖 #motherhood #childhood #kidsroom #nostalgiacore #reallife
