@revolutionarycats: A leftist is anti-capitalist by definition, and they want to enact changes to the economic structure by abolishing capitalism, usually through revolution. A rightist wants to keep capitalism and maintain the status quo. In between you have more "moderate" rightists: people who recognize the pains of capitalism but refuse to upend it. These people are usually known as liberals or social democrats, and their goal is to temporarily reduce the pains of the working class, so as to delay the inevitable revolution. There is no such thing as a moderate leftist, because all leftists seek the dismantling of capitalism.
