Sure it might be enough for the down payment, but can you keep up with the mortgage of a nearly 600k house? The maintenance? Gas bills, grocery bills, electric, internet, phone, and everything else? Probably not. It’s best that you save up at least for a 10% downpayment for any house and have an emergency fund to cover payments that you might not be able to afford in the near future. That’s what makes the house still unaffordable

200x4week=800month. 800x2=1600. 1600x12month=19,200 2 is ( you and your partner ) and the 12 months is how many months are in a year but idk about $20,800 being enough for a downpayment maybe if you use 3.5% wouldn’t that be hard to even qualify for ?
