@sashanoc_: I know this might be unpopular, but I think we’ve lowered the bar for customer service. Before y’all come for me—I understand service jobs are stressful. I’ve worked in customer service too, and I know customers can be rude. But I also don’t think having a bad day gives anyone a free pass to roll their eyes, act annoyed, or treat a customer like they’re a burden for asking a simple question. At the same time, customers shouldn’t expect employees to tolerate disrespect or abuse. To me, it comes down to one thing: mutual respect. If I’m respectful to you, I expect the same in return. Whether you’re the customer or the employee, basic courtesy shouldn’t be optional. What do y’all think? They lowered the pay, increased the expectations all while treating people like crap and making it where they CAN’T actually help. Yep… why would they want to do a good job?
