My husband trades labor for meat. (He snow plows for one guy and mows/bales hay for the other) It’s amazing. We get 1/4-1/2 a cow every year, plus 1/2 to a full pig. The only meat I buy is chicken and lunch meat which saves us so much because I have two teenage boys.

We do this! 1/2 an organic, grass fed cow from a local farm every couple of years (just 2 empty nesters now but we do give some to our young adult kids). The BEST beef you’ve ever tasted and cost effective over the long term! ❤️
