My daughter had one on top of her shoulder small keloid scar , he went to go excise it (z track method) she was a pitcher in high school softball released her to play I think pretty quickly and it got worse and made an even bigger keloid scar. Took many yrs for her to finally accept her scar and just leave it as is .

I have a big keloid scar from where my ileostomy was back when I had one (don’t have the ostomy anymore). I hate the feeling of the when the scar is touched and it also caves in a little bit making my abdomen kind of lumpy. My old laparoscopic scars are small keloids. I’ve never had any treatment for it and I don’t get why I scar that way after surgery.
