This fence took about 4 1/2 hours to build, and I was only able to accomplish that because I used Sika postfix expanding foam for the post footers. Technically this foam is non-structural like for mailboxes, but since this is such a small fence, I thought I’d give it a try and save myself a lot of time waiting for concrete to set. This is my first time using expanding foam, it’s incredibly easy to use. They say that it sets in three minutes, but I would say it expands in three minutes, but takes another 10 minutes to dry enough to cut off the excess. The hole is 2 feet deep and as you can see at the end of the video it expands beyond that using a 10 inch form tube. #homeprojects #fenceinstallation #expandingfoam #fencefooters #DIY
