That’s what happens when 250,000 people are dumped on you in one year and drive with the license from another country instead of being thoroughly tested on our rules and regs. Regardless it is going to jam up roads with the extra volume. I’m a born and raised Albertan who has lived in Calgary since 1977 when the population was 420,000 and now 1.5 million so have seen this first hand.

Ive lived here my entire life. About 15 years ago it started to shift and now its so bad that its literally the worst part of my day every day having to drive anywhere. Nobody knows any of the rules its a free for all now, i hate it.

I find that Calgary drivers NEVER signal. I’m sure if you asked one he’d say ‘how the hell am I supposed to steer and use my phone AND signal??! I only have two hands!’. And don’t let the racists below let you believe these are immigrants. We have a significant number of gormless bigots .

Yes!!! This is new. I’ve been driving for decades in Calgary and it only started happening in the last 5 or so years that I’ve seen people coming to a full stop on Crochild because they missed their turn. It’s insane. 😳😳😳

Calgary is genuinely one of the nicest places to drive in North America. Having moved from Toronto a couple years ago, it's 100000x better. I can't think of many other cities with better road layouts, space, and little traffic. (also, you'll get cited here too for touching your phone)
