Upcycle w me! Ramen edition IN DEPTH STEPS:
 SKIRT: - Get a jacket u dont wear - Disassemble her; seperate the body, the sleeves, the hood, the jacket pocket, the waist band and wrist bands - Get any skirt that fits you well and trace the outline of the skirt, - add seam allowance to the traced outline - Cut 2 pieces of the skirt pattern (front and back) - Get your waistband and put it around your waist and pin it to where it fits nice - sew the new waist on your waistband and the 2 side seams of your skirt together using a zigzag stitch - Connect the waistband and skirt rights sides together (flip the waistband inside out where the top of it is the raw edged side, put it over the skirt making sure that both right sides are facing together and sew using a zigzag stitch) - cut strips of fabric, measurements up to you, just make sure you utilize most of the fabric length onto this step bc of the pleating - connect those strips of fabric - Pleat them (no specific meausurements just have fun, people wont go up to you and look at ur skirts pleat distance) - Add lace - Ur DONE!! TOP: - Drape fabric onto your body and draw the pattern shown in the vid on your body - Cut the shape of the pattern on the main fabric - Cut 2 side panels out of the main fabric you cut earlier - Use the side panels as patterns and cut them on new fabric - Connect all 3 panels of the top together - Add lace - Get measurements of the corners of the top (shown in diagram) and use those measurements for the backs length, - Use the same width from the front to the back - Add grommets GROMMETS: THIS IS FOR WHEN U DONT HAVE A SPECIAL GROMMET TOOL - get grommets that are on the cheaper side - Get any old pair of kitchen scissors - Cut the tiniest hole imagineable on to the fabric - Put your finger through the hole and put a grommet through - Once the grommet is in slash and cut them shown in thevid with the kitchen scissors - Make sure that all the slashed marks of the grommets are facing outwards - And hammer that bih down - The placements of all grommets are in the vid! - AND UR DONE! #fyp #fashion #upcycle #sewing
